Euca Planning deliver Bushfire Management Statement Training for Planning Institute of Australia (PIA)

On Tuesday 10th November, Euca Planning delivered the Preparing and Assessing a Bushfire Management Statement course as part of the Planning Institute of Australia's PLANET training course series.  With nineteen planners from local government and private industry in the room, it was an exciting start to the journey into training for Euca Planning, and a visit to the big smoke (Melbourne).

Trainer Deanne Smith has previously provided on-the-job training to the planning industry throughout the Gippsland Region, whilst she was employed by the Country Fire Authority (CFA).  During that time, many of the planning practitioners in the Gippsland Region built their skills to a level where they could provide an adequate, and in many cases an excellent, level of service to their clients.  The opportunity to deliver the PIA course was time for Deanne to reacquaint herself with the enjoyment of sharing her tips and tricks to other members of the planning industry.
